Machines built for a week of laundry.

A home washer holds about ten pounds. Most of ours run 30 pounds and up, including six 60-pound washers that take a comforter or a family’s whole week in one load. The dryers are sized to match, so nothing sits wet.

Williamson Road Laundromat is a self-serve laundromat in northwest Roanoke. The machines run from 20-pound stacked units up to six 60-pound washers, with no top-loaders. They get fixed as they break, so you do not find a wall of out-of-order signs.

The machines take quarters. Two bill changers inside the store turn your bills into quarters, and there is an ATM on site if you need cash.
